THE OMBUDSMAN TO THE MINISTRY OF JUSTICE SUBMITTED INFORMATION ON IMPLEMENTATION OF THE EUROPEAN COURT OF HUMAN RIGHTS DECISIONS

• The Ombudsman prepared and submitted special information on implementation of the European Court of Human Rights decisions, aimed at highlighting of the importance of quality implementation of court decisions.
  
  Namely, the Ombudsman considers that all agencies and institutions should contribute to quality implementation of court decisions, which will primarily help the citizens and thus our society and beyond.

THE OMBUDSMAN INITIATED ESSENTIAL CHANGE IN ALL LEVELS AND TYPES OF EDUCATION ABOUT HUMAN RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS AND INSTRUMENTS AND MECHANISMS FOR THEIR PROTECTION

• The Ombudsman considers that it is essential need in all levels and types of education to be introduced a separate subject on human rights and mechanisms for protection on national and international levels. Also, in the request submitted to the Government, the Ministry of Education and the Bureau of Educational Development, the Ombudsman proposes deeper changes to be made not only in the curriculum and instructional content but also in the textbooks which should appropriately and properly educate children and even teachers about all rights and freedoms and all mechanisms, procedures and ways of realization and protection of human rights and freedoms.
  
  By implementing of these activities in all stages and levels of education, and in the field of adult education too, would be educated not only children but the citizens too to recognize their rights and obligations and would have acquired knowledge about institutions which are responsible for realization and protection of their rights. On that way direct influence will be made on the work of institutions, national and international, with aim to become more efficient.
