Deputies

 

Vaska Bajramovska-Mustafa

  • Born in 1971 in the village Morane, Skopje;
  • 1992-1996 – worked as a honoraria collaborator (journalist) in MRTV;
  • 1996 – finished Law Faculty in Skopje;
    1996-2006 -  employed as a journalist/editor in the Redaction for Roma language TV “Bijandipe” (Revival) in MRTV when she informed about the human rights situation of the representatives of the Roma community in the Republic of Macedonia and in Europe;
  • 2005-2006 - was a member of the experts’ group for employment at the European Centre for Minority Rights - ЕСМI;
  • 2006 –employed as a Collaborator in the Ombudsman institution of the Republic of Macedonia where she worked on many tasks related to protection of citizens’ rights in the field of consumer rights, health protection and health insurance, social protection and security and right to education;
    As a representative of the Ombudsman she is nominated a member of the working group in the Ministry of Justice for preparation of an Action Plan for human rights and discrimination and political participation of women-Roma in the Republic of Macedonia, in accordance with the Roma Strategy in the Republic of Macedonia;
  • 2009 – becomes a State Counsellor of the Ombudsman and works in the Department for protection of children’ rights and persons with special needs;
  • Member of the National Commission for the rights of children and Subcommittee for trafficking in children, member of the State Council for prevention of juvenile delinquency, as well as representative of the Department in the network of children ombudspersons in South-east Europe, CRONSEE;
  • 2013 – passed the Bar exam;
  • 22.07.2013 – elected Deputy Ombudsman.

 

Jovan Andonovski

  • Born in 1980 in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia.
  • Graduated legal sciences at the Faculty of Law “Iustinianus Primus” in Skopje;
  • 2001 -  specialized in international law at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Republic of Poland;
  • 2015 – PhD from the Faculty of Law “Iustinianus Primus” in Skopje, Department of Roman Law;
  • 1999 - 2002 worked in the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia on a Project of the National Democratic Institute;
  • 2003 - 2006 worked as a Legal intern;
  • 2006 - appointed deputy Director of the Central Registry of the Republic of Macedonia;
  • 2007 - 2009 worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
  • 2009 - 2014 State Secretary in the Secretariat for European Affairs;
  • 2015 - worked as State Counselor in the Secretariat for European Affairs;
  • 2015 - elected associated professor at the Faculty of Law, University “Goce Delchev” in Shtip;
  • In October 2016 elected Deputy Ombudsman.
  • He speaks English, German and Polish language. He is an author of numerous professional and scientific publications and other legal texts in the country and abroad.
 

Suzana Saliu

  • Born in 1960 in Saraj - Skopje.
  • 1979 – completed secondary education in “Zef Ljush Marku” in Skopje;
  • 1984 – graduated at the Law Faculty in Prishtina;
  • 1985 – worked as a journalist in the newspaper in Albanian language “Flaka e Vlazerimit” i.e. “Flaka” of NIP “Nova Makedonija”;
  • 1997 – elected Deputy Ombudsman;
  • 2004 – passed the Bar exam in Skopje;
  • 2006 – elected for a member of the Executive Board and vice-president of the association of citizens “Transparency – zero corruption” which became a member of the “Transparency International” based in Berlin;
  • 2008 – completed Masters degree in legal-administrative science on the topic “The Ombudsman – the European experience and the experience in the Republic of Macedonia“;
  • 2008 – elected regular Legal Adviser in “Transparency – zero corruption”;
  • 2009 – elected Public Prosecutor in the Higher Public Prosecution Office in Skopje.
  • 2009 – elected vice-president of the Executive Board of the Academy for judges and public prosecutors;
  • 2011 – elected MP and vice-president of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia;
  • 2015 – appointed Director of the Crisis Management Center;
  • 2016 – re-elected Deputy Ombudsman.
 

Daut Selimi

  • Born on 30.01.1953 in Kolari village – Kichevo.
  • 1977 he graduated  from the Law Faculty in Pristine;
  • 1977 started working as a clerk at the Municipality Court in Kichevo;
  • 1979 he was elected a misdemeanors judge at the municipal Misdemeanor Court in Kichevo;
  • 1986 he was re- elected a judge at the same court;
  • 1986 – 1991 he was president of the Association for Human Rights;
  • 1987 he was assigned a professional associate at the Misdemeanor Court in Kichevo;
  • 1995 he was assigned a Manager of Criminal, Citizen and Extrajudicial Department at the municipal Basic Court in Kichevo;
  • 1999 he was elected the Secretary of the Council of the Municipality of Zajas;
  • 1999 he was appointed the Manager of the Defense Department in the regional office in Kichevo;
  • 2004 he was the President of the Red Cross in Kichevo, a member of the Executive Board of the Red Cross of  the Republic of Macedonia and a member of the Statute Commission of this humanitarian organization;
  • 15.07.2005 he was elected a Deputy Ombudsman.
  • 22.07.2013 - re-elected the Deputy Ombudsman..

Naser Veselji

    • Born on 20.04.1958 in the village Lipkovo, municipality Lipkovo;
    • 1990 – graduated Law Faculty;
    • 1990 – employed as a lawyer’s collaborator;
    • 1994 – worked as a Tax Inspector in the Public Revenue Office in the Ministry of Finances in Kumanovo;
    • 2002- became Counsellor-Inspector in the Regional directorate Stip-Tax Department in Kumanovo;
    • 15.07.2005 – elected Deputy Ombudsman.
    • 22.07.2013 - re-elected the Deputy Ombudsman.

 

Irina Stojanovska

  • Born on 11.01.1975 in Tetovo;
  • 1993 – graduated at the secondary medical school “Nikola Stein” in Tetovo;
  • 1997 – graduated at the Law Faculty in Skopje;
  • 2000 – passed the Bar exam;
  • 2001-2002 – worked as a lawyer with a Bar exam in the Notary Office in Tetovo;
  • 2002 – employed in the Primary Court Tetovo as an Associate;
  • 2005 – promoted to a Judicial Collaborator in the Primary Court in Tetovo;
  • 22.07.2013 – elected Deputy Ombudsman.
 

Slavcho Timov

  • Born on 26.01.1962 in Strumica;
  • 1985 – first employment as a student in the factory Schindler AG in Lucerne- Switzerland;
  • 1988 – graduated Law and Political science in Skopje;
  • 1992-1993 – employed as a trainee in a lawyer’s office;
  • 1994 – passed the Bar exam;
  • 1994-1996 – owner of a private firm;
  • 1998-2003 – employed as an Associate in the Primary Court Strumica;
  • 2003-2009 – promoted as a Senior Collaborator in the Primary Court Strumica;
  • 2009-2013 – Senior Judicial Collaborator in the Primary Court Strumica;
  • 22.07.2013 – elected Deputy Ombudsman.
 

Elena Gorgonoska-Manevska

  • Born on 05.08.1970 in Struga where she finished her primary education;
  • 1989 – graduated at the Secondary school for economics “St. Kliment Ohridski” in Ohrid;
  • 1995 – graduated at the Law Faculty in Skopje;
  • 1995 - 1999 – was a trainee – volunteer in the Primary Public Prosecution Stip;
  • 1998 – passed the Bar exam;
  • 1999 -2002 – worked as a referent in DPTU “Gjorgon-Vladimir” Ltd;
  • 2002 - 31.08.2002- became a referent for legal affairs and working relations in DPTU “Gjorgon-Vladimir” Ltd;
  • 2002 -2004 – employed as an Associate in the Primary Court Stip;
  • 2005-2007 referent for legal affairs and working relations in DPTU “Gjorgon-Vladimir” Ltd;
  • 2007 -2009 – employed as a Counsellor-for registration of right to property in the Real Estate Cadastre-Department for cadastre of real estate-Stip;
  • 2009 - Counsellor – Independent Public Prosecution Counsellor in the Primary Public Prosecution Stip;
  • 22.07.2013 elected Deputy Ombudsman.
