Former Ombudsman

Branko Naumoski

  • Born in 1951 in Bukojchani village, Kichevo,
  • 1969 – graduated from “Kocho Racin” High School – Skopje
  • 1975 – graduated from the Law Faculty in Skopje
  • 1975 - first employment as an intern and an associate at the Public Prosecution in Skopje
  • 1976 – passed the bar exam
  • 1981 – elected a Public Prosecutor Deputy at the Public Prosecution – Skopje
  • 1987 – Assistant Minister of Justice, Head of the Sector for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions (oversight, inspection, and monitoring of the constitutionality and legality in the exercising of the rights of convicted persons)
  • 1995 – elected a Chief Republic Inspector at the Republic Administrative Inspectorate, an organ within the Ministry of Justice with the authority to protect the rights of citizens before the administration and all other organs and organizations with public mandates, as well as to exercise control of the law enforcement, expedient and economical realization of the operations and authorities of the entire state administration
    3rd of July 1997 – elected the Ombudsman of the Republic of Macedonia
  • 06.12.2004 – elected judge at the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Macedonia
