ANNUAL MEETING OF THE EMPLOYEES WORKING IN THE OMBUDSMAN OFFICE
Within the MOSP project supported by the OSCE Mission to Skopje and the Swedish International Development Agency SIDA, on sixth to eighth May meeting of employees in the Ombudsman institution was held in Ohrid.
On the meeting participants discussed about project activities which in next 18 months will be carried out within the Twinning project funded by the IPA pre-accession funds of the European Union, as well as the activities which will take place within the Children Rights Ombudsmen Network in South East Europe - CRONSEE hosted this year by the Macedonian Ombudsman.
It was also presented the new organizational structure of the Ombudsman, the work of the three newly established organizational units - the Department for the Prevention of Torture and other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment so called the National Preventive Mechanism; the Department for Protection of Children and People with Disabilities and the Department for Protection from Discrimination and Equitable Representation.
As usual participants exchanged their work experiences on dealing with complaints and discussed about the upgrade of existing application by inclusion of three new departments in electronic work system.
